Finishing powders for every budget

Finishing powders Rimmel Stay Matte Bourjois healthy balance Hourglass Ambiant Lighting powder Dim Light

Finishing powders are quite an interesting product in the sense that the goal is for you not to see them on your skin. The best in the game are so finely milled and unnoticeable once applied. None the less, they are an important step in a makeup look, setting everything in place and avoiding your T zone, or any other zone on your face, to get all oily throughout the day.

The drugstore gem : Rimmel Stay Matte Long-Lasting pressed powder

You MUST have heard of the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. It’s in every beauty blogger’s collection and has been talked about a whoooole lot. An oldie but a goodie as we say! It’s such a cheap option that still get the job well done. It’s the perfect one for someone who’s just starting out with makeup or is on a tight budget.

The best value for money : Bourjois Healthy Mix powder

Bourjois products, even thought they can be found at the drugstore, are a bit more premium. I’ve already shared so many times how much I love their Healthy mix serum foundation and I love this number as well. I got it after seeing it in many of Amelia Liana’s videos a few years back and I have to say, if I had to recommend just one, I would go for the Healthy mix. Just the best quality for the price!

The luxury treat : Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder in Dim Light

The Hourglass Ambiant Lighting powders are just beauties. I first got the trio and I just became obsessed with the brand. Fast forward to now and I’m the proud owner of the trio palette, the Ambient Luminous Bronze Light bronzer, two blushes (Dim Infusion and Diffused Heat) and their Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light. It’s not only so so pretty to look at but this powder will add the most subtle glow to your skin. Definitely one to go for it you want to treat yourself and add a bit of luxury to your makeup collection.
