No this post is not about Justin Timberlake. Sorry if I miss-led you.
Summer fragrances are all about evoking something fresh, floral and sun kissed. But when winter rolls around, it’s time to bring a little sexy back. I know I crave for something warmer, woodier, almost unisex. The thing is, I am a pretty picking chooser when it comes to perfumes. I have a vision and really need the fragrance to match it for it to make it home. Nirvana Bourbon from Elizabeth and James just ticked all the boxes. I had wanted to get the Elizabeth and James black and white for years but the love just wasn’t there. The newbie though just changed the game!
First, can we address how hot is the bottle? Let’s be honest, liking the packaging is almost half the battle. Love the fragrance but the bottle doesn’t fit my taste? Pass (and don’t tell me I’m the only one). This one just has a chic, art deco quality about it. Great. And now for the important part: the smell. I’m just going to insert the official description cause as every other blogger out there, I just can describe smell to save my life; Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon is a provocative blend of sultry vanilla bourbon, oakwood, and a hint of tuberose for a bold, oriental-woody scent with intoxicating confidence. Sounds appealing to me. And to everyone around me it seems! Compliments garanteed.
